With the launch of their new menu featuring causal American cuisine designed exclusively by executive chef, Scott Pelletier, and a 3-course dining prix fixe option grilled on the outdoor patio under the stars on the second Tuesday of every month, The Blarney Stone is opening their outdoor patio with a bang and bringing the only outdoor bar option into Dorchester. The Blarney Stone is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, and features a Sunday brunch. “I’ve been given free reign to create a casual seasonal menu, with primarily American dishes influenced by French techniques,” said Scott Pelletier, executive chef at The Blarney Stone. “I’m very excited at how the menu has evolved, and delivers a much-needed dining destination in the up-and-coming neighborhoods south of Boston.” On Tuesday, June 8th, The Blarney Stone launches a 3-course tasting dinner prix fixe ($45 drinks included, $30 food only after 6pm) which will be grilled directly on the candlelit patio. The 3-course menu will be offered on the second Tuesday of every month throughout the summer. Featuring specialty menu highlights available for one night only, this month menu includes: smoky pulled pork taco's; creamy toasted corn soup with grilled shrimp; grilled mahi with corn relish with grilled jalapeno cheese cornbread & baby spinach; applewood bacon wrapped pork tenderloin with spicy black beans & ginger mashed sweet potatoes; grilled spice-rubbed half chicken with grilled asparagus, green beans & watermelon; rum glazed grilled pineapple with coconut ice cream; strawberry shortcake, and much more. In addition to the 3-course chef tasting dinner, the new spring menu is now available for lunch and dinner seven days a week, as well as for Sunday brunch.
